The Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) department at Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital is dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Our Areas of Expertise
We provide a full range of services across the entire field of otolaryngology. Our key focus areas include:
- Otology/Neurotology (The Ear): Treatment of hearing loss, ear infections, balance disorders (vertigo), and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). We perform procedures for hearing restoration, including cochlear implants.
- Rhinology (The Nose): Management of sinus and nasal problems, including chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, deviated septum, and allergies. Our specialists are skilled in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery.
- Laryngology (The Throat): Diagnosis and treatment of voice and swallowing disorders. This includes voice therapy, treatment for vocal cord lesions, and managing conditions that affect the larynx (voice box).
- Head and Neck Surgery: Surgical management of tumors (both benign and malignant) in the head and neck, including the thyroid and parathyroid glands.
